Criteria for Merit Calculation
The merit list prepares for its calculation basing it on the composite formula which incorporates both the HSSC or equivalent level attainment and MDCAT score earned. PMDC seeks to promote fairness and transparency in the selection, so the percentage of the HSC weightage makes up a reasonable percent of the overall merit. In doing so the focus on seeking the students to improve their academic performance is met. The applicants are warned to take note of the indicative and merit inventory for the incoming Academic year so as to know the requirements and any amendments to those specified in the inventory.
Understanding the Merit List
Once prepared, the merit list is made available on the official PMDC website so that the candidates do not have trouble accessing it. Students are able to know the ranks against their names which signify their admission opportunities. After the announcement is over, the successful candidates usually must complete their registration and all relevant documents within a specific deadline.
