Admission
The fee structure for diploma and certificate programs in tourism and hospitality at Pakistan Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (PITHM), Karachi. The charges differ based on the program period and the course content. Diploma Programs are more expensive while Certificate courses are cheaper. The students can pay the fees in installments as well the same has been made easier for students. Besides the tuition fee, students also need to pay admission fees and some nominal expenses.
Programs Fee Structure
PITHM offers several programs, with separate fee structures for each of them. The total fee for the 18-month Hotel Management Diploma is around PKR 130,330. This amount can be paid by students in installments along with an initial payment that should be made while getting admission. Similarly, the Advanced Food Production Diploma is a one-year program with a total fee of approximately PKR 135,830, allowing fee payment in installments. Short-term certificate courses, which include the Pakistani Cuisine program, average about PKR 21,100 and are to be paid entirely at the time of admission.
Scholarship & Financial Assistance
PITHM extends scholarships to students dedicated to hospitality, who may be facing financial difficulties. Such scholarships help deserving students alleviate their tuition burdens to get the best possible education. The scholarships are provided to assist needy students and nurture the talent in the hospitality profession. The scholarships are generally awarded to deserving candidates and on the basis of need.
