Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI) situated in Peshawar also releases merit lists for admission to different programs of forestry and environmental science every year. These merit lists are very useful in as much as it is used to decide which candidates will be given admission in line with their performance on test. It entails the lists of the various applicants and help in maintaining the standards of the institute in offering education to the students.

It is prepared through the merit of the candidates either in their HSSC examination or any equivalent examination. For postgraduate programs, academic records from relevant Bachelor’s degree(s) are accepted. Further, some of the programs also provide second list merit rank on the basis of entrance test conducted for candidates and their scores are also considered. The college makes it possible to ensure an open admission process and enable the right candidates to secure themselves in the programs of their choice.
Accessing the Merit Lists
After the merit list is prepared then they are uploaded on the Pakistan Forest Institute website along with the campus notice board. These sources should be consulted frequently for any changes in the date of compilation of the lists by the candidates. Only those who will see their names on the said merit lists will be receiving further directives on the admission process such as dossier submission and payment of fees. During this period, the applicants need to keep abreast so that they make a seamless transition to their programs at PFI.
