Admission Process

The admission process at PSTC takes a number of steps. To begin with, applicants must acquire and fill the application form. This is available at the admissions office or on the institute's website. Together with the relevant documents, the completed form should be submitted before the deadline. Successful candidates will then be required to sit for an entrance test that tests their knowledge in relevant subjects. Those who qualify will be put on the list for interview and are to be selected. Once the interview process is done, the institute publishes the selected students' list and they are expected to follow through with the registration process by making the necessary payment of fees.

Eligibility and Criteria

Candidates need to pass Matric (SSC) in Science with an output of at least 60% marks for eligibility to be considered for admission at PSTC. Satisfactory performance in Mathematics and Physics is essential, as these are the foundation of the technical training program. In addition, a candidate should pass the PSTC entrance test to gain admission. Because of limited seats, the minimum criteria does not guarantee selection, so students are encouraged to prepare well for the entrance examination to improve their chances of admission.
