Northern University Nowshera KPK

Overview

EDR Trust established the Northern University and it is a Government charted institute of NWFP in private sector. The university is recognized by HEC (Higher Education Commission) as a degree awarding institute working in private sector. The university had an old category A that has been upgraded to "W" in March 2009. There are currently two campuses of the University. One campus is known as the City Campus Nowshehra and the other one is the main campus located at Wattar Walai Ziarat Kaka Sahib Road, Nowshehra. This main Campus is located in a beautiful area spread over 140 Kanals in safe location of Nowshera. The locations of the campuses are ideal and easy to reach from various parts of the country.

Objective

Just like people, all universities are also not same. Every university has its own motivation. The Northern University Nowshehra has the objective to do good for the humanity. The institute has been established under the noble cause and for the well-being of the people. The establishment of the institute is expected to bring about a positive change in the society. Hence the institute demands the appreciative support of everyone who is the part of the university. The university has the goals to provide high quality higher education to the students to make them enable to lead towards their future goal.

Programs Offered

The University offers a variety of well-rounded programs focusing on Science and Technology, Engineering, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Humanities and other supporting disciplines. These programs are designed to help the students to acquire skills and knowledge that are required in facing the challenges of the modern world.

The admission to the programs is based on academic records of the applicants, the entry test and open merit. The applicants get the admission form from the university campus after paying the fee for the admission form. The charges of the admission form is Rs.300/-.

Every program offered at the university has a different admission requirement.
