The NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad, is being run under the merit system of admissions in engineering and technology programs. The Institute gets an array of programs in undergraduate studies-from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering to Computer Science and Business Administration. Admission is granted on the basis of a combination of both previous academic performance, entrance test scores, and other criteria laid out by an institute for the respective courses, such as UET Lahore or its allied universities.

Details of the Merit List
The merit list for 2024 shall be issued in further installments that is, a first, second, and third list. The ranking of the candidates will be done according to their cumulative score obtained on the basis of their entrance test marks and their previous academic records. The entrance test carries 33 percent of the grading in most engineering disciplines, while the remaining accounted for matriculation and intermediate marks. The candidates for Computer Science and Business Administration have somewhat different criteria, in that the first year in intermediate studies is given more importance. The first merit list is likely to be displayed in the earlier admission phases. It will then be followed by subsequent lists as and when they become available. The students listed in the lists must confirm their admissions through payment of required fees and presentation of necessary documents within the time limit; otherwise, they may lose their admissions.
