Minhaj University Lahore

Minhaj University was founded by Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in 1986. It is known to be one of the branches of the international welfare and educational organization Minhaj-ul-Quran. The private sector university is located in Lahore and consists of two campuses within the city. The University was granted a degree awarding charter by the Government of Punjab in 2005. The University consists of more than 32 departments, which have been providing high quality education since its inception. All of the academic departments of the university are recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

Additionally, the university has two centers, namely the International Center of Excellence (ICE) and the International Centre of Research in Islamic Economics (ICRIE). Minhaj University aims to expose students to critical learning and advanced learning techniques. It will help them gain their full potential for intellectual and human development. The university is focused on maintaining academic and moral integrity. Admission requirements: 

• The admission requirements vary for different disciplines. But the basic admission requirements for each discipline are mentioned below.

Undergraduate Programs:

• The admission requirements for undergraduate degree programs include intermediate or equivalent education.

Graduate Programs:

• For admission to any of the graduate degree programs, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. The students are also required to appear for an entry test and score a minimum grade of 50%.

Doctoral Programs:

• The admission requirements for a doctoral degree program include a master's in the relevant field with a minimum grade point of 3.0. Students will also have to appear for the entry test.

Associate Degree Programs:

• The admission requirements for associate's degree programs include intermediate or equivalent studies.

Research Facility:

For the sake of research, Minhaj University has developed a center for research and development (CRD). The center has been striving since its inception. It is committed to conducting seminars and training to help both teachers and students develop their research skills. The university holds a number of research laboratories, which help students learn the different aspects of research. Advanced knowledge based laboratories are present for different departments, including chemistry, physics, pharmaceuticals, engineering, biological sciences, and more.
