Admission Process

The first step in applying at LCMD includes using the official website to perform pre-registration by completing required forms. The admission process begins with registration after which students need to take an entrance exam that gauges their understanding of suitable subjects. The admission process selects students according to their performance in the examination before conducting interviews with qualified candidates. Selection decision results from both admission examination ratings and interview performance which ends with eligibility evaluation. Candidates need to follow all established deadline requirements from the admission office to perform a standardized admissions procedure.

Eligibility and Criteria

Students pursuing the MBBS course at LCMD need Intermediate Pre-Medical or equivalent level of education with minimum 60% marks to apply. All candidates need to achieve at least 55% marks during their MDCAT 2025 performance. MBBS admission follows a 50% MDCAT result basis with an additional 40% Intermediate scores and finishes with 10% matriculation marks. The IBCC must issue overseas candidates an equivalence certificate showing a minimum of 60% marks to proceed. Prospective students need to submit domicile certificates together with CNIC or B-form to verify their details in the educational system.
