Lahore Institute of Science and Technology is a private sector university providing higher education in Lahore. The university has been recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan as a degree awarding institution and is chartered by the Government of Punjab. The university aims to empower and engage youth to achieve their career goals with the help of highly knowledgeable and experienced teachers. LIST is dedicated to providing students with international standards of education so that they will be capable enough to face the emerging issues of the world and make significant progress in their career.

Study Programs:

The University offers a number of undergraduate and graduate study programs under the jurisdiction of the following departments. 

  • Faculty of Management Sciences

  • Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology

  • Faculty of Engineering Technology

  • Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

  • Faculty of Allied Health Sciences

Admission requirements:

The admission requirements vary among the different courses. However, the basic requirements for admission at Lahore Institute of Science and Technology for undergraduate programs include.

  • Intermediate, FA, ICS, or equivalent education with a minimum marks of 50%.
  • For graduate programs admissions requirements include.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination in second division with a minimum marks of 45% or at least a grade point of 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0 (for semester system) from any recognized university by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. 
  • A candidate must appear for the entry test conducted by the university or general graduate assessment test by the National Testing Service. 
  • Interview by the concerned department. 

Research Faculty:

The Lahore Institute of Science and Technology has a number of credible faculty members who have expertise in research work. The university looks forward to providing research facilities to their students through which they will be able to learn about the advances of different rising issues in the world.
