The Karachi School of Art (KSA) has started the admission process for different Short Diploma Programs for the January,2025 session. Admission were open from Nov 15, 2024, and are due by Jan 3, 2025. The class will begin on January 6, 2025. KSA has diploma courses in general art and design subjects. As admissions are granted on first come first serve basis, the students are advised to apply as early as possible to save seate before the deadline. It embraces students who explore a world of creativity and builds a strong foundation in art and design.
Eligibility & Criteria
- Admission is based on merit .No discrimination is done on basis of gender, religion or region. And the following candidates are eligible for the admissions.
- The aspirants who have passed the matric/o-levels in the subject of Fine arts/Communication Design/Textile Design.
- The candidates who have studied arts and digital media subjects in the intermediate/a-levels.
- The candidates must have at least 50% marks in intermediate/A-levels.
- The candidates who have been rusticated or debarred from admission in any previous institution are ineligible to gain admission to the KSA.
All admissions are dependent on the merit that is based on:
- Marks in Aptitude/entrance test. The candidates who have at least 50 % marks in the entrance test will be shortlisted for the interview.
- Performance in the interview. The students are advised to show their portfolio at the time of interview.
- 80% of the marks are for the test and interview. Whereas 20 % marks are based on previous academic qualification.
