The merit lists of Islam Medical College Sialkot for the MBBS and BDS programs are published after the admission for programs is completed. The merit lists are developed with consideration of the candidates’ scores in the National MDCAT test, the candidate’s academic records, and any other assessment done such as interviews. The list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 academic year will be posted on the college website, and all the notice boards will contain the list of the selected candidates.

Criteria for Merit List
The select list prepared for admission to various degree programs in IMC Sialkot, includes name of candidates qualifying for the merit list on the basis of their performance in their academic work. Based on National MDCAT and the marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) / an equivalent examination, the candidates are ranked. The marking of these factors is done in such a manner that only serious students should be admitted to the school. The merit list includes only those candidates who score the college cutoff marks of the respective program or more than this. The competition is stiff since IMC is one of the prestigious learning institutions.
Procedure of Admission After Preparation of Merit List
Finally, the selected candidates have to follow up the list of merit and get their documents reconciled, pay the admission charges and any other similar process of the respective college as and when mentioned by them. The announces the merit list also give the fee submission and registration the date and deadlines for the same. Any candidates who are unable to make it on time will lose their places, and these will be offered to waiting list students. The IMC also provides for appeals or inquiries to those who intend to challenge the lists of merit generated by the IMC.
