Programs and Academic Excellence

The college also has its professional program, which is a five-year program resulting in a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D. ) degree. From the present program, students will be enabled to develop academic and professional competencies necessary in many fields of pharmacy practice practice, research, and industry. The curriculum is compatible with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) guidelines. It is recommended that students participate in research and engage in internships so as to get real globe experience in their area of specialization.

Admission and Campus Life

Like many institutions in Nigeria, admission into Islam College of Pharmacy is competitive, and to be admitted, candidates must possess five credits in their ‘O’ level certificate including the relevant prerequisites for admission into pre-nursing – intermediate education. The college enhances student’s life through some sociability activities such as societies and clubs for students as well as co-curricular activities for the benefit of the students’ growth and development. The college also has scholarship programs for those students from poor background who register deserving academic performance. Decided on the provision of competent pharmacists, Islam College of Pharmacy has carved a niche for itself in Sialkot.
