Iqra University Karachi

Situated in the urban and residential area of Defense Karachi, Iqra University is the top most University offering higher illustrious education to over 10,000 students. A group of Karachi-based industrialists founded the Asian Management Institute (AMI) in 1998.It was not until 2002, the university was granted its charter by the provincial government and it was renamed to Iqra University.

The HEC has approved the wide range of undergraduate, graduate as well as Ph.D. level degree programs offered by the university in the discipline of Computer Science, Management Sciences, Media Sciences, Education and Fashion-designing. It has earned a notable name among the top private higher education universities of Pakistan. The Higher Education and Commission has ranked it among the top ten institutions in the ‘Business Category’. The university has affiliations with the Pakistan Engineering Council and Higher Education Commission, hence all degrees are accredited and approved

The main campus of the Iqra University resides in Defense Karachi. While satellite campuses are established in the areas of Gushan,Cifton,North Nazimabad and Johar Town. A full-fledge campus is also built in the Khayaban-e-Johar ,H-9 Sector of Islamabad.
