Institute Of Southern Punjab (Isp) Multan

Institute of Southern Punjab, ISP, Multan is an institute built on a purpose that students from Punjab will have the chance to seek accessible tertiary education and furthermore, the university offers the opportunity for them to acquire a business/ career and the life they want for themselves their family and their country. This autonomous privately managed institute has been legislated by the Government of Punjab on 21 July, 2010 as a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI). Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad has recognized I.S.P as the category ‘W’ institute. Currently ISP has two spacious campuses (City and Main)

The institute has developed academic, scientific technical & cultural relations with global centers of higher learning to take its academic level to International standards. In this regard, ISP has signed MOU with many centers of higher learning to carry out Split Degree-Programs which will expose world-wide culture and career opportunities to the enrolled students. Some of the institutes collaborating in this regard are: Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, London Metropolitan University, Bozok University, Turkey, Al-Zahra University, Iran and many more.

The institute of Southern Punjab offer collaborative studies via the following programs: Student Exchange Program, Split Degree Program, Faculty Exchange Program, Internship for UG/PG Programs, Research Scholar Exchange Program, , Short Term Courses and occupational Training etc.

A wide range of academic courses are taught at the university including bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in different genre of Engineering and technology. Moreover, Business administration degree courses are also conducted at both bachelor’s and master’s level. Several other disciplines in humanities and sciences are also offered as degree courses at the institute of Southern Punjab.

History:

Institute of Southern Punjab, Multan ISP is located in the region of Southern Punjab. The institute is chartered by the Government of Punjab through legislation by the provincial assembly on 21 July, 2010 and assented by the Governor of Punjab on 30 July, 2010 and is accredited by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad Government of Pakistan.

Infrastructure and Facilities:

The institute covers an area of 16 Kanals with almost 50,000 square feet built up area in twin adjacent buildings housed at Gulgasht Multan. Because of its central location, it is conveniently approachable from all directions of the city via public transport or by the fleet of vehicles engaged by the Institute.

The infrastructure entails 25 Air -Conditioned 25 Lecture Rooms, Computer Labs with latest 110 P IV Computers, vast Library with more than 10000 books, spacious Conference and examination Halls, separate common rooms for staff and students, career counseling cell, cafeteria and Lush Green Open spaces.

Another campus situated 1.5Km away from Baha-u-Din Zakariya University is spread over an area of 19 Acers (152 Kanals). The building comprises an administrative and two academic blocks, 65 air-conditioned lecture theaters, computer labs comprising 250 computers, a wide library and all other state-of-the art facilities. Both campuses provide infrastructure spaces and facilities for recreational activities.
