Admissions in Undergraduate Programs

Admissions in the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS) are conducted purely on merit. A three tier process will complete the student’s final selection comprising an aptitude test, an interview process and meeting the basic eligibility criteria. The weightage for three tiers are given below:

• Basic Eligibility Criteria 20%
• Aptitude test 40%
• Interview 40%

The percentage of the aptitude test results will be directly proportional to the marks the student has obtained in the test.

The candidate during the selection interview is evaluated on the basis of four areas each carrying equal weightage

• Communication Skills
• Commitment and passion to study in the applied programme
• Analytical and Critical Ability
• Overall Confidence

The following documents are required to pursue the admission procedure

• Three passport size photographs
• Matriculation/ O levels and Intermediate /A levels or equivalent certificates and mark-sheets/transcripts
• The applicants waiting for Intermediate or A levels results can attach their part 1 mark sheet and Admit Card of class XII, or Test Appearance/Registration Slip for A level,
• Photocopy of CNIC and Blood Group Card
• 5Pay Order of processing fee

Criteria to get enrolled in workshop / short courses

• The candidate has to be at least 16 years old.
• No previous art or design experience is required

Criteria to get enrolled in six months Diploma

• The candidate has to be at least 18 years old.
• The candidate must have cleared Intermediate or A- levels / Result awaiting student may also apply
• No previous Art or design experience is required
