There are three categories of admission to the university:

• Regular Admissions are open for the aspirants who fulfill all eligibility requirements and have provided all supportive documents.
• The category of Provisional Admission is for the students who have been rejected of Regular admissions or have failed to provide all required documents. The transfer students also fit into this category. Such students have not submitted their documents from the previous institution.
• Non-degree student admission is targeted at the individuals who do not require a degree but want to attend a few courses.

The Admission Process consists of a university Placement test, followed by an interview and a group discussion with the Committee.

As the time frame to apply is short, candidates must be vigilant of the advertisements placed in national dailies. The admissions are also advertised on internet. The academic Calendar available at the official website also mentions the time when the admissions open and close. The students are advised to apply as soon as the admissions open because of limited number of seats.

The university observes a re-admission policy to cater the former students who were unable to complete their degree due to some reason. However the students who have been expelled or rusticated from the Greenwich University once, are not allowed a re-admission.
