Govt MAO College Lahore

In Lahore, this college is shifted adjacent to Secretariat Lahore. As being one of the oldest educational institutes of Pakistan this college has given thousands of great scholars to Pakistan. Each year millions of students apply for Admission in MAO college. The college starts its latest admission soon after the result of matric board exams result. MAO College Lahore History:

Under the action by the Anjuman-e-Islamia in Amritsar, in 1933, according to the pattern of Mao College Aligarh MAO College was established. At the time of its establishment the main purpose is to kill the deficiencies of modern education among the Muslim community of India. The first principal appointed was Professor S. Mercado for MAO College. After partition a large number of students and staff migrated to Lahore and in the former Sanatana Dharma College premises a new Mao college was established which is now known as MAO College Lahore and is still working with its aim to promote the values of education.

Presently, the college is affiliated with the two major organizations which are considered as the major contributor of education and these are listed below:

1. Punjab University, PU
2. Higher Education Commission, HEC

Right from the beginning of this institute it provided a large number of students, a large number of degrees at various levels of education. There are 1000 + students got the title of MAO college students and out of which 2000+ are undergraduate students and 600+ are postgraduate students. In order to fulfill the academic requirements, clerical requirements, and other management requirements there is a staff of 170+ members is there in MAO College.

The college is famous for offering intermediate to higher education level including bachelor and master level degree program. The college is offering almost all the trendy study programs at intermediate, bachelor, and master's level of education.

The college is located in Lahore, Pakistan. A large area was devoted for the construction of the college by the government of Pakistan. a wide building was arranged and the separate and wide departments for each faculty are also arranged there. Moreover, library, mosque, playground, and other services are also implemented there in MAO College.
