Programs Fee Details

There are two major programs offered in legal studies at the college. The LLB is a three-year undergraduate program designed for those who want to become lawyers or work in law. The LLM is a two-year postgraduate program providing stipulation to students to specialize themselves in various fields of law. Till now, there is no announcement of a fee structure, and other government law colleges charge between PKR 50,000 and PKR 96,000 per year in Pakistan. These charges include tuition fees as well as other educational expenditures however, this differs depending on institution policies. Students are advised to confirm the amounts in consultation with the college's administration.

Scholarship and Financial Assistance

As a state institution, one with few sources of income, the Govt. Islamia Law College may provide deserving students with financial assistance and scholarships. Other national and provincial scholarships such as the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program for students from economically weaker sections are open. This program is a joint initiative of HEC and the Government of Pakistan whereby deserving students shall be provided financial support through HEC need based scholarships throughout Pakistan. There is also the Sindh Educational Endowment Fund Trust Scholarships that aid students from Sindh.
