Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute Admission 2025

GIKI has initiated admissions for its undergraduate program for the 2025 session, and applications are invited for various disciplines of engineering and technology. The whole process is online, which is making it convenient for the students. Key dates are opening of classes on September 1, 2025, and orientation sessions to take place on August 30–31, 2025. The admission process is merit based with priority given to academic performance and performance in the institute entry test. GIKI continues to provide quality education and facilitate innovation in the field of engineering and technology. The GIKI announces the admission for Undergraduate Programs 2025. The admission starts from April 13th, 2025 and the last date to apply is May 15th, 2025.

Admission Process

All applicants are required to fill out the online application form on the official GIKI admissions portal. They will collect their personal details, as well as details of educational documents, and a current color photograph. Candidates are also requested to submit applications for any available scholarships and funding. A non-refundable processing fee is required to be submitted, using accepted banks or internet banking. The admission test, which will assess knowledge of Physics, Mathematics, and English, will be conducted from 9-13 July, 2025. The test centers will be in various cities including Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, Karachi and Multan. The result of admission test will announce on July 23rd, 2025 and merit list will also display on same date.

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must meet academic criteria for eligibility in admission. For engineering programs, the candidates must have passed HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and overall. For Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Data Science courses, HSSC with Mathematics and Physics is required. Admission is on the basis of an admission test with 85% weightage, based on which academic records have 15%. Final result waitlisted applicants can also provisionally apply, provided they are eligible on result announcement.
