Fatima Memorial System achieved another milestone with the establishment of a comprehensive Department of Allied Health Sciences in Punjab. The newly formed independent department aims to cultivate professionals who will play a crucial role in the medical team alongside doctors and nurses. This initiative, known as FMHCMD, Department of Allied Health Sciences, underscores Fatima Memorial System's dedication to becoming a benchmark for providing high-quality education in Allied Health Professional courses across the country. Allied Health professionals play a vital role in preventive, curative, and rehabilitative patient care.

The Department of Allied Health Sciences offers graduate programs encompassing Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Speech and Language Pathology, Optometry and Orthoptics, Dental Technology, Audiology & Nutrition. Supported by Fatima Memorial Hospital and sister institutions, the department ensures students receive the necessary academic and clinical exposure. Theoretical aspects are taught in well-equipped lecture rooms with multimedia tools, while practical training takes place in fully furnished labs covering Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, and Therapeutics.

Students benefit from access to the anatomy museum, clinical skills lab, library, and computer lab. The institute is affiliated with Fatima Memorial Hospital (a 500 plus bedded tertiary care teaching hospital), Hijaz Hospital (a 170 bedded hospital), and Khair-un-Nisa Hospital (a 71 bedded hospital), providing students complete access to hospital facilities for clinical training in their respective disciplines.

Additionally, all allied health professionals are eligible to apply for both foreign and local scholarships for higher studies offered by the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan.
