Programs Fees Details
Undergraduate programs including BSCS, Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Biotechnology, Applied science & technology. The annual cost of tuition fee for under graduate programs lies between PKR 40,000 to PKR 70,000 for instance for BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Biotechnology and Applied sciences. For graduate programs such as MS in various technical fields the fees are relatively higher and extend between only PKR 50000 to PKR 100000 per year course depending on the technical field. There are also the incidental charges, which other institutions call fees for some services such as laboratory fees, examination fees, library fees and other overhead charges. The rates are selected intentionally to be comparable with other institutions to provide good educational and research opportunities.
Scholarships and Financial Asistance
FIRST offers students scholarships and other means of financial assistance for worthy students. The university provides scholarships for gifted students according to academic achievements, which will also decrease their overall fee. Further, if a student is in desperate need of money, he/she can be given need based scholarships so that the student does not discontinue education . The institute also assists students to apply for government scholarships and other scholarships sourced from outside institutions. Such efforts are intended to ensure that hardworking and brilliant students, despite their inability to pay, can afford education at FIRST.
