The Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences is a well known institution based in Karachi, Pakistan. Founded by the Commerce Educational Trust, which was instituted by the alumni of the Government College of Commerce and Economics, CIBES is aimed at providing quality education in the field of business. The institute is chartered by the Government of Sindh and recognizes by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. In 1995, CIBES became the first institute to affiliate its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, walking the talk in quality business education.

Scholarship & Financial Assistance
CIBES strives to ensure that education is accessible to deserving students through various scholarship programs. The merit scholarship is provided to financially needy students. The applicant has to be investigated regarding factors such as family income, living conditions, expenses on utilities, and dependents. Accordingly, the percentage of a scholarship is determined. Upon success of the assessment, the scholarship is conferred, all arrangements are made subject to strict confidentiality. Scholarships may account for up to 10% of admitted students based on satisfactory levels of performance and discipline. In addition, CIBES has partnered successfully with the Ihsan Trust of Meezan Bank Ltd. to finance students with interest free loans (qarze hasna), starting at Rs. 3,000 in monthly payments, depending on mutual consent between students and the Ihsan Trust.
