Established in the year 2002, the College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) is "The Leading Hotel School in Pakistan" committed to upholding standards of excellence in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Travel and Tourism Management education and training in Pakistan. In addition to the management level programs of study, COTHM also encompasses a wide range of Hospitality Skills Training Programs of the Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) stream.

Driven by a professional vision to address the challenges of Hospitality human resource development in the modern era, the core philosophy of education at COTHM is to combine two elements of education - theory and practice - which balances the academic learning with hands-on training. With the collaboration of its international academic partners namely Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) UK, American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI), USA, The Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) UK, and EURHODIP, France, the mission of the management of COTHM is to develop demand-driven human resource from line level to the management positions to meet the global human resource needs of the ever-expanding Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Industry.
