CIMS currently delivers a variety of medical programs, the key areas of study are the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The most popular program is the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) programme that has been developed with the aim of producing graduates who will fit into clinical practice, healthcare research, and medical education. The institute has also majors in allied health sciences, nursing and other paramedical sciences. The admission criteria vary but are fairly rigorous, depending on the entrance test, merit, level of difficulty in the intermediate science group (Pre Medical).
