Bahria University Karachi

Bahria University started its journey in the late nineteen-eighty’s Pakistan Navy established two educational institutes one in Karachi and other in Islamabad as Bahria Institute. These institutes were established for the education of naval personnel’s children.

In 1997, the institute upgraded degree programs to 4 year BBA and BSC and MBA and MSc. The institutes were named as Bahria Institute of Management and Computer Science (BIM&CS). The institute was given university status in February 2000 through a Presidential Ordinance.

Established in 2000 by Pakistan Navy, Bahria University Karachi (BUKC) is one of the most reputed and prestigious educational institutions. The university is known for its commitment to academic excellence and research, offering a modern education in a variety of fields. Academic Programs Offered

One of the prime institutes presenting different levels of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Management Sciences Degrees such as BBA, MBA. The department of computer sciences offers latest yet popular programs such as BSCS and MSCS while the applicants for engineering can do Software Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Moreover, it offers the Social Sciences which includes Media Studies, International Relations, and Economics. Specialized fields such as Environmental Sciences, Geology, Psychology and Maritime Studies are some of the programs you can pursue here. They have an LLB and LLM from the Law faculty that train students to be lawyers. The long list of programs offer students multiple career options.

Facilities & Activities

Modern facilities are available on the Bahria university to facilitate better learning and student life. Lecture Halls, spacious and equipped with multimedia technology, laboratories support theoretical training and hands on in various disciplines. It also allows you to access a lot of academic sources in a digital library. The recreational facilities comprise of a sports arena, gymnasium, and on campus cafeterias. For outstation students hostel accommodations are provided.
