This year, AIFD, an institution of higher education and affiliate of Iqra University Karachi, presents its admission schedule for 2025. The institute is also offering courses in Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Fashion Marketing & Merchandising. Other than a degree, AIFD also renders exclusive diploma programs in specialized training for individuals in the fashion sector. AIFD is credited for the modern curriculum being applied in a practical training and integrated industrial training mode. The curriculum is designed to give a candidate a practical grounding of creative skills and knowledge to scale up in a competing fashion space.
Admission Process
The admission process begins with an online application from the AIFD website. Once the completed form has been submitted, there is an entry examination that tests proficiency in English and general knowledge, as well as IQ and drawing. Those who pass the test will be called for a placement interview, during which creative potential and a candidate's understanding of designing will be assessed by the institute. Admission is confirmed only after verification of the documents. This ensures the selection of the best candidates from among the very artistic ones and with great zeal for fashion.
Eligibility and Criteria
For Bachelor's programs, candidates have at least a second division in their HSSC or an equivalent qualification from the HEC. Candidates with A levels or qualifications from abroad should submit an equivalence certificate from the IBCC. For the Master's program, a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent is required. All candidates must also sit for the AIFD entry test and interview before final selection.
