The Akhuwat Faisalabad Institute of Research Science & Technology (FIRST) aims to produce quality research based and technocrats professional educationists who are sensitive to the social justice. The goals and objectives of the University are to produce leadership, potential entrepreneurial and technological achievements of the future with special focus on biotechnology. Programs Offered
Akhuwat FIRST focuses on under graduate programs more so the BSc (Hons) Biotechnology which is a four year program. This program consist an intensive course work with practical sessions in labs that enable the student to practice research, heath care or engage in agriculture sector. It is further articulated to offer academic curriculum package that is comparable to the international standards, and incorporates both theoretic and pragmatic sciences. Also, the institute carries out seminars, workshop and hands on training to complement what the students have learnt.

The facility of Akhuwat FIRST has been planned and developed in a manner to provide students perfect environment for their effective thinking. The facility is equipped with modernized laboratory filled with updated technology, adequate class room size and an updated library for academic and research use.
