The university strongly believes that all the students should be given fair chance to get admission in degree programs. The university has defined an eligibility criteria. The admissions are open to all the students and there is no quota system or seat reservation system. All the students who look forward to take admission should fulfill following criteria:

  • BBA, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.A/F.Sc / D.Com or Equivalent
  • Computer Science, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or Equivalent
  • Software Engineering, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or Equivalent
  • English, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.A/F.Sc or Equivalent
  • Economics, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.A / F.Sc or Equivalent
  • Mathematics, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.A/F.Sc with Maths or Equivalent
  • Microbiology, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc Pre-medical or Equivalent
  • Physics, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc with Physics
  • Geology, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F. Sc (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering) DAE (3 years) Electrical /Mechanical/Civil with at least 50% marks
  • Psychology, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.A / F.Sc or Equivalent
  • Zoology, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc Pre-Medical
  • Pharm-D, 4 YEAR - ELIGIBILITY, F.Sc Pre-Medical / A level or equivalent with at least 60% marks

MASTER PROGRAMS

  • Pakistan Studies, ELIGIBILITY B.A/B.Sc or Equivalent
  • English, ELIGIBILITY B.A/B.Sc or Equivalent
  • Mathematics, ELIGIBILITY B.A/B.Sc (Maths A&B) or Equivalent
  • BBS (Equal to MBA 2 Years), ELIGIBILITY B.A/B.Sc/B.com or Equivalent
  • MCS, ELIGIBILITY B.Sc with Computer Sc. or Equivalent
  • Psychology, ELIGIBILITY B.A/B.Sc or Equivalent
  • Zoology, ELIGIBILITY B.Sc. 2-year program with Zoology along with other related/ equivalent subject with at least 45% marks in annual system or CGPA of at least 2.5 out of 4 in semester system are eligible to apply.
  • M.Sc, ELIGIBILITY Economics B.A/B.Sc Economics /Statistics /Mathematics / B.Com or Equivalent Degree

Bachelor’s program age limit

The candidate must be maximum 25 Years up to last date of submission of form.

Master’s program age limit

The candidate must be maximum 30 Years up to last date of submission of form.

Availability of Admission forms

The students are required to furnish original documents at the time of interview. The admission Forms are available at following places:

  • ABL Havelian
  • MCB Havelian
  • NBP Dubb Branch Mansehra
  • NBP Main Branch Haripur
  • NBP Main Branch Abbottabad

The cost of each admission form is Rs. 1,000/. The forms can also be downloaded from www.aust.edu.pk for which bank draft of Rs. 1,000/ is necessary in the name of Treasurer Abbottabad University of Science and Technology.
