Aawaz Institute of Media Sciences (AIMS) Karachi

The Pak-Center for Social Development (PCSD) is a social welfare society instituted with a purpose to serve the country in varying capacities. In accordance with the clause III-e of the Memorandum of Association under Registration Act 1860, the society has established Aawaz Institute of Media Sciences (AIMS) in affiliation with the University of Karachi to impart education and training in media, gradually leading to higher degrees in media studies in future.

Academic Programs Offered

AIMS provides a wide variety of programs, given the rising demand of professionals in media and communication fields. At the undergraduate level, it offers programs like BS Mass Communication, BS Computer Science, BBA, BS Software Engineering, BS Digital Media Marketing, and Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design and Textile). Other than the degree programs, AIMS offers multiple short courses on Digital Marketing, Event Management, TV Production, Photography, and News anchoring. These programs aim to provide students with targeted knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in their fields media, business, or technology.

AIMS is equipped with the latest and greatest facilities to provide to students in both academics and extracurricular activities. It has modren classrooms with latest teaching aids, up keeping libraries and laboratories for media related programs as well. Alongside their academic rigor, AIMS also believes in participation beyond the classroom, inspiring their students to collaborate with peers on cultural events, workshops, and seminars, as these components foster their skills both personally and professionally.
