Admission Process

The students who have completed their intermediate studies look forward to pursuing admissions to universities. The admission process in universities begins right after the intermediate results are announced. The admission process begins with the admission form that is available at all the respective campuses of the university you are looking forward to and some universities grant admission online as well. The admissions process consists of some steps which include completion of the form and submission with the mentioned admission fee. The admission process prolongs for almost one month. After the admissions forms are submitted, the universities conduct an entry test that depends upon every university and its requirements. Lastly, the universities display the merit lists of successful candidates. 

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to enroll admission in BS in Tourism and Hospitality include a candidate who holds an FSc or equivalent with a minimum of second division marks.

Admission Intake

Usually, the peak time for admissions is in the fall intake which means September. It is the main time for admissions intake soon after the intermediate results are declared. But for students who for any reason weren’t able to apply for admissions or were waiting for results in September can apply for admissions in the spring intake of April. 

Entry Test

There are several different entry tests for admissions to a bachelor’s degree. The entry tests include National Testing Service or tests conducted by the respective University. It is compulsory for the candidate to appear in the entry test and pass it with a minimum of 50% marks. 

Merit Lists

The list generated by the particular institute of successful candidates is the merit list. After the admission process is concluded the institute calculates the aggregate based on the academic background and grants admissions to the eligible students. 

Fee Structure

The fee structure of every university depends upon its type. The public sector universities have a way less fees than the private institutes. The fee structure is divided into semester-wise, quarterly manner, or yearly.

National University of Science & Technology:

The National University of Science and Technology is a research-based public sector university residing in Islamabad. The university is one of the largest and main universities in Pakistan providing degrees in a number of degree programs. The Business school at NUST offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality. 

University of Punjab

The College of Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Punjab offers four undergraduate degrees in Tourism and Hospitality. The University of Punjab is located in Lahore with a variety of campuses for different fields of study. The degree is based on the semester system. 

Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology

The eligibility criteria to enroll for a four years degree in Tourism and Hospitality is a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) degree or equivalent (FA / F.Sc / ICS / I.Com, D. Com / A-Level) with a minimum of 45% marks. 

Abbottabad University of Science and Technology

The department of Social Sciences at Abbottabad University of Science And Technology offers a bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Hospitality. The candidates who look forward to enrolling for the bachelor’s degree are required to have done intermediate or equivalent studies with at least 45% marks. The university does not require any entry tests for admission.

Superior University:

The avail admission for a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management the candidate must possess an intermediate or equivalent degree. The degree is based on four years of eight semesters. The students are required to achieve a total credit hour of 133 to get the degree.
