BS Urdu Admission Process

The students which are interested in Urdu and want to graduate in this subject can get admission in BS Urdu. The students can apply for admission in BS Urdu after completing intermediate.  A number of universities and colleges in Pakistan are offering admissions in BS Urdu. The students can apply on the basis on intermediate marks. The students with FA or FSc both can get admission in BS Urdu. The admission process for BS Urdu consists of following steps:

• Get application form for admission
• Fill you application form according to your correct information and credentials
• Get application challan form from university and pay fee in respective bank
•  Wait for uploading of merit lists
• Complete your admission process if you find your name in selection list
• Fill admission form and pay fee

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 65% marks in intermediate/ HSSC (12 years qualification)
• Minimum 50% in admission entry test is required by university 
• Interview marks (if required)

Admission Intakes

In Pakistan, many universities are offering admission in BS Urdu. In a year, two times admission are opened by the institutes and the students get enrolled. Students can get enrolled either in spring or fall session.  Some private sector institutes offer admission in BS Urdu three times in a year. In public sector institutes, self-support admissions are also offered.

Entrance Test for Admission

Mostly public sector universities in Pakistan take entry test as their compulsory requirements for admission in BS Urdu.  The universities can conduct test for admission by their own or through National Testing Service. Minimum 50% marks in entry test are mandatory for admission. Entrance tests are normally conducted after completion of intermediate exams.

Merit Lists

After the completion of admission application process, the aggregate of all candidates is calculated according to which the merit lists are prepared and uploaded. The merit lists can be made according to the merit formula which includes fsc marks, matric marks and entry test marks.

Fee Structure

The fee structures for BS Urdu are different in various universities. The students pay Rs. 19,000 at the time of admission. The fee of BS Urdu ranges from Rs. 26,000 to Rs. 50,000 per semester in public universities while in private universities, the fee is higher.  Students have to pay fee for each semester in BS Urdu.
