Admission Process of BS Microbiology

The students which want to get admission in BS Microbiology should be known the admission procedure. For getting admission the student has to apply for the program in which he wants to get enrolled. Although the admission process is not same in all institutes so the students should follow the admission instructions given by the respective institute. Admissions are granted on merit base. Ilmkidunya provides the students complete admission guidelines which are very helpful.

Eligibility Criteria of BS Microbiology

Those students are eligible for admission in BS Microbiology who scored minimum 50% marks in HSSC or intermediate. Students get admission purely on merit. The eligibility criteria are decided by the institute according to which admissions are granted.  Minimum eligibility criteria are at least 50% marks in fsc. The students which fulfill the admission requirements of the university are eligible for admission. Eligibility criteria vary from institute to institute.

Admission Intakes

The seats for admission in any program are specified. BS microbiology admissions are opened in various institutes two times in spring and fall. Students can get enrolled in BS Microbiology in fall or spring admission. BS Microbiology is offered in many institutes and there is semester system for this program.

Entry / Entrance Test for Admission

It is up to the institute that either it wants to conduct entry test for admission or not. If entrance test is required by the university then students must have to pass it for admission and failed candidates cannot take admission. Not all universities take entrance test for admission but some takes. Merit may be entirely based on entrance test or a ratio of it is taken.


Eligibility Criteria of NUMS

  • F.Sc. Pre-medical/A levels or equivalent with at least 60% marks
  • NAT (General)/ MDCAT with minimum 50% of cumulative score OR NUMS Admission Test

Eligibility Criteria of Minhaj University

  • Intermediate (12 years of education) with a minimum 45% marks + Interview. FSc (Pre-Medical)

Eligibility Criteria of UMT

  • 12 years of formal education FSc/ A level or equivalent with Biology and Chemistry
  • Minimum 50% marks at intermediate level or equivalent
  • Equivalence certificate from IBCC in case of O/A level
  • No third division in matric
  • UMT Entrance test

Eligibility Criteria of Capital University of Science & Technology

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility Criteria of Superior University

  • FSc Pre Medical/A level or Equivalent with minimum 45% marks

Eligibility Criteria of Ghazi National Institute

  • FSc with Pre-Medical/Engineering or equivalent with 45% marks.
  • DAE in relevant field are eligible

Eligibility Criteria of Riphah International University

  • 50% marks in FSC pre-medical ,
  • DAE or Equivalent qualification

DAE Stand For

           DAE full form is Diploma of Associate Engineering
