NUST, Islamabad established its facility for civil engineering in 2008 by the name of The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE). The department is further divided into three sub-departments namely the NUST Institute of Civil Engineering, NICE, the Institute of Geographical Information System, IGIS, and the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering, IESE.

- At least 60% aggregate marks each in SSC and HSSC OR equivalent exams (as per IBCC equivalence).

- The ACT is required with a minimum score of 25

- At least 60% in F.Sc/ ICS/ DAE/ B.Sc./ B.Tech
- Appear in the entry test arranged by the University for the intended Academic Session.
