Eligibility Criteria for BS Civil Engineering in Pakistan

School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (SCEE), National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Islamabad

NUST, Islamabad established its facility for civil engineering in 2008 by the name of The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE). The department is further divided into three sub-departments namely the NUST Institute of Civil Engineering, NICE, the Institute of Geographical Information System, IGIS, and the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering, IESE.

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Engineering in NUST

1. At least 60% aggregate marks each in SSC and HSSC OR equivalent exams (as per IBCC equivalence).
2. Candidates with FA/FSc background can also apply for NET based on FA/FSc Part-I results. The presentation of an FA/FSc certificate or a Detailed Marks Certificate, however, is required for admission confirmation.
3. The ACT is required with a minimum score of 25.

University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore

The department of Civil Engineering in UET, Lahore is among the oldest civil engineering facility in Pakistan. The department has now adopted an outcome-based education system since 2014 covering the previous gaps in learning and making some radical changes in its courses.

1. At least 60% in F.Sc/ ICS/ DAE/ B.Sc./ B.Tech.
2. Appear in the entry test arranged by the University for the intended Academic Session.
3. The candidate must score at least 60% adjusted admission marks determined as per the merit determination criteria.

Merit determination criteria are as follows:

• Weightage of FSc. Or equivalent degree: 70%.
• Weightage of ECAT or combined entrance exam: 30%.
• The candidate must pass the examination held by the university for Sports and Hafiz-e-Quran marks.

NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), Karachi

Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro

1. At least 50% in university’s entry test.

University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar

The department of civil engineering at UET, Peshawar has designed its courses to cover a wide range of Civil Engineering topics. 3. The candidate must have taken the university's combined entry test and received enough points to meet the university's minimum requirements.

FAST University (NUCES)

Balochistan Institute of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS)
