In the wake of the third wave of the Covid-19, almost all the educational activities are halted throughout the country. Most of the higher education institutes are bounded to continue the online classes and under the instructions of the education ministry, they are also conducting online exams. The education or study levels that are affected a lot are the matric and the intermediate levels. Last year due to inappropriate measures it was difficult to compete with the Covid-19 situations and the government had cancelled the examination sessions of the matric as well as the intermediate levels and to save the academic years of students the promotion policies were introduced. Now, several questions are circulating from students’ side that what would happen for now? 1. How long will the papers be postponed?
It is announced by the education ministry that no exams will be conducted in the country until June 15th, 2021.
2. Will government announce promotion policies for the 9th and the 11th classes?
According to the latest announcements by the government of Pakistan or the education ministry, it is decided that no promotion policies will be introduced for the 2021 academic year. The education minister, Shafqat Mahmood, said that the final examination session of the 9th and 11th classes will be conducted according to the timetable of the respective boards.
3. When the final 2021 exam session of matric and the intermediate classes will begin?
According to the latest announcement said by Shafqat Mahmood on May 6th, 2021 the final examination session of the intermediate and the matric classes will begin after June 15th, 2021. The exact date sheets will be announced soon by the respective boards of education.
4. Does Federal Board follows the same instructions that Punjab boards follow?
No, the federal board of education has its own rules and regulations. The federal education ministry controls the federal board of education and the timetables and rules of federal boards are totally different than that of the Punjab boards of education.
5. When date sheets are generally announced?
Almost all the boards of education announce date sheets of almost all the classes almost a couple of weeks before starting the exams.
6. How much time it takes to complete the exams session
Usually, it takes almost a couple of weeks to complete the examination session of a single class. However, the period may extend because of the extended government or official holidays in the paper schedules.
7. How to find roll number slips?
Once after announcing the date sheet, the boards of education will send the roll number slips to students. Students will be provided roll number slips to the addresses they had mentioned while filling their admission forms.
8. How to find the exam center?
Your roll number slip will offer you complete details that what is your exam center and where it is located. So, do not be worried about the exam center and once must read the roll number slips completely for all other information.
9. Does the date sheet of all education boards is same?
The examination session of almost all the boards of education is the same. However, the exact timetable and dates of almost all the boards of education are different. For example, the exams of almost all the boards of education will be started in June but the exact dates of most of the papers will be different.
10. What is the exam schedule for matric and intermediate classes?
According to the normal examination schedule, students of the 10th class appear first for the exam session. However, students of the 9th class appear at the last. Similarly, for the intermediate session, 12th class exams are conducted at first and then 11th class students are called to appear for exams. The same schedules will also be held for the 2021 academic session.
