PMDC Announces MDCAT Date For The Year 2024

MDCAT 2024 Exam Date

The PMDC has officially announced the MDCAT 2024 test date which is 22^nd September 2024 (Sunday). The syllabus of MDCAT will also be announced soon on PMDC official website. The President PMDC Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj stated that for the convenience of large number of interested medical and dental students, the MDCAT 2024 syllabus will be unchanged (will same as previous year). All provincial secretaries have already been ordered to start preparing for the MDCAT 2024 test along with the strictly guidelines and regulations to ensure fairness and transparency of this year’s MDCAT. By passing the MDCAT test, students will be able to get admissions at their preferred medical and dental universities.

Last year, nearly 180,534 students took the MDCAT exam. This year, the number of candidates is expected to rise to approximately 200,000. The PMDC plans to consider the difficulty index of the MDCAT paper to ensure that it remains challenging yet fair, maintaining merit across all provinces. The exam will be administered by provincial public admitting universities under the supervision of the PMDC.
