The male students having an interest in this domain can become psychologists after the completion of their degree. The career is not specific to any gender as the male and female candidates both can choose this field. No doubt there is gender imbalance as the female students prefer to opt this field more as compared to male students. But a career in Psychology offers equal opportunities to girls and boys. However, it has been reported that the male students perceive psychology as a degree that is associated with health and education professions/careers and they think that it is suitable for females not for them.

Boys choose science mostly fact-based subjects, such as economics, business studies, commerce, and maths, and often perform well in them. After the completion of the intermediate, the female students prefer to join the medical-related fields while the female students tend to choose other fields like engineering.
