AJKPSC Rules

An eligible candidate must apply online on AJKPSC website using the prescribed form found on the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission's website before the deadline given in the advertisement. 

1. Candidates must submit the AJKPSC application fee before the deadline.

1. AJKPSC Age limit can be different for different kind of jobs but usually it’s from 21 to 35 years.
2. To any regular individual, age limit cannot be relaxed by the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission. 

Age relaxations for those candidates who apply for a grade 17 AJKPSC job:

1. Government employees with at least two years of continuous service are eligible for a two-year age relaxation.
2. Age relaxation for disabled candidates will be 2 years.
3. The AJKPSC gives candidates from backward areas an additional two years of age relaxation.

Age relaxation for those applying for other public service positions are as follows:

1. Government employees who have been employed for at least two years continuously are entitled to a 10-year age relaxation.
2. Candidates from backward areas will have 3 years of maximum age relaxation.
3. The AJKPSC allows disabled individuals a maximum age relaxation of 10 years.

Screening Test

AJKPSC does not conduct screening test for all AJKPSC jobs. AJKPSC only conducts screening test in order to reduce processing time and effectively manage the increase in number of candidates. AJKPSC screening/ ability test consists of multiple choice questions only. AJKSC screening test helps the commission to filter out the serious and eligible candidates for the AJKPSC Job. Only eligible candidates are called out for the AJKPSC screening test. Those who successfully clear the AJKPSC screening test can undergo further selection procedure like AJKPSC written exams and interview.
