COMBINED ENTRANCE TEST 2025 (SECOND)

For Admission in Engineering Institutions of Punjab for B.Sc. Engineering Programs and Other Disciplines

Overview

Since 1999, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has been conducting the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) as directed by the Government of Punjab for admission into public sector engineering institutions. The second and final ECAT for the year 2025 will be held as per the instructions of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), which requires applicants to be given multiple attempts, and the best result will be considered for determining merit.

The ECAT is mandatory for admission into undergraduate engineering programs in public and private institutions in Punjab. The test score will be valid for Fall 2025 admissions.

Test Centers and Orientation

The ECAT will be conducted at multiple centers across Punjab. A brief orientation session will be held for familiarizing candidates with the computer-based test format. The orientation is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the following locations:

1. Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan

2. Islamia University, Bahawalpur

3. NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Multan

4. University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore

5. UET Lahore Faisalabad Campus

6. UET Lahore Narowal Campus
