Admission for Session 2024-25

According to the admission policy issued by the Government of Punjab on October 10, 2024, and the directives provided by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) on January 3, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, will conduct the admissions process for government and private medical and dental colleges. Eligible candidates must fulfill the required criteria. The expected admission schedule is as follows:

Admissions will be carried out following the guidelines issued by the government, and the number of available seats will be determined based on policy decisions. Applicants for reserved seats must adhere to the designated schedule and provide original documents certified by a recognized authority.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed the MDCAT 2024 examination.

  • Minimum required marks:

    • 55% (1100/2000) for BDS applicants.

    • 50% (1000/2000) for MBBS applicants.

  • Overseas Pakistani candidates who have completed A-levels or equivalent qualifications abroad must meet the specific requirements outlined by IBCC and have obtained a minimum of 550 marks in SAT II (for relevant subjects) or 500 in UCAT (UK-UCAT).

  • Candidates must have completed 12 years of education in Pakistan or abroad.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit scanned copies of the following documents:

  1. Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent qualification.

  2. Domicile certificate from the relevant district.

  3. CNIC/B-form of the applicant and guardian.

  4. Father’s/mother’s CNIC.

  5. Passport (for overseas candidates, if applicable).

  6. Equivalence certificate (for foreign qualifications).

All documents must be uploaded in the required format, with a maximum file size of MB. The CamScanner app can be used for scanning documents.
