Admissions for Government & Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab for the Session 2024-25
According to the admission policy issued by the Government of Punjab on October 10, 2024, and the notification from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) dated January 3, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, has been designated as the admitting university for MBBS and BDS programs in Punjab's government and private medical and dental colleges. Interested candidates are invited to apply.

The admissions will be conducted based on the merit list issued by PMDC and the Government of Punjab, including the number of selection stages. Candidates applying under reserved quota seats in government colleges must appear before the medical board with original documents at the designated time. Documents must be verified by a government authority, and eligibility criteria must be met.
Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum required marks for MBBS: 50% (1100/2200)

Minimum required marks for BDS: 50% (1100/2200)

Candidates who have completed their education outside Pakistan and wish to apply must have their documents equivalized by IBCC and meet the required MCAT (or equivalent) scores.

SAT-II or UCAT scores may be considered for foreign candidates.

Candidates can use their MDCAT 2023 scores for admission in 2024-25.

Only candidates who have completed at least 12 years of education with pre-medical subjects (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics) will be eligible.

The admission process will be carried out online. Candidates must submit scanned copies of their documents in JPEG or PDF format, with a maximum file size of 7 MB per document.

Candidates must upload a clear scanned copy of their CNIC or B-Form.

Any fraudulent activity or submission of false documents will lead to immediate disqualification and legal action.
