Admission in MBBS (Session 2024-25)

Eligibility Criteria for IEAP Local (Self-Finance)

• The applicant must have a domicile of tagged districts as per government notification.

• The applicant must have passed Intermediate/HSSC or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) group or equivalent examination (e.g., A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) with a minimum of 60% marks.

• The candidate must have passed MDCAT 2024 (Retake) with at least 55% marks for admission into MBBS.

Application Process

• The application form and challan form can be downloaded from the official website: www.gims.edu.pk.

• After paying the challan at MCB, the original receipt, application form, and all required documents must be sent to the Directorate of Admissions, Gambat Medical College, via any courier service before the closing date.

• By-hand submissions will NOT be entertained.

• Applications received after the last date shall NOT be accepted or entertained.

• Candidates with objections to MDCAT results must resolve their issues from LUMHS, Jamshoro before the closing date.

• Courier service envelope and file cover should be marked as "MBBS CATEGORY (SELF FINANCE or OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS)" on top.

Eligibility Criteria for IEAP (Overseas Pakistanis)

• HSSC or equivalent examination duly certified by IBCC with 60% marks (from an institute outside Pakistan).

• As per PM&DC regulations, the candidate must have passed MDCAT 2024 with at least 55% marks or SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics).

• The candidate must have passed an intermediate or equivalent examination from outside Pakistan.

• Overseas Pakistanis must submit proof of parents working outside Pakistan.

• Foreign Nationals must hold permanent foreign nationality.

Required Documents for Overseas Pakistanis

• Transcript/Marks Certificate of 10th Grade/O-Level

• Equivalence certificate of 10th Grade/O-Level duly certified by IBCC

• Transcript/Marks Certificate of 12th Grade/A-Level

• Equivalence certificate of 12th Grade/A-Level (Pre-Medical) duly certified by IBCC

• NICOP of candidate and father

• Passport and valid visa of candidate

• MDCAT-2024/SAT-II score certificate

• Six (06) passport-size photographs of candidate

• Demand Draft (D.D) of US $11,970/- (Equivalent in Pakistani Rupees on the date of advertisement)

• Photocopy of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 100,000/- for IEAP in the
