National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) MBBS program registration to the 2026- 26 session is now open. Online registration to NUMS MDCAT 2026, the admissions examination to MBBS/BDS, began on August 23rd, 2026 (Sunday), and the last registration date, including late registration, is in June 2026, respectively. According to PMC, there is no minimum and maximum age limit to get admission in any medical institute for MBBS in Pakistan. MBBS Admission 2026 Procedure in Pakistan

NMDCAT Test is compulsory for getting admission in MBBS 2026 according to many universities. Following is the general admission process which the students have to follow. Acquire the MBBS admission process 2026 , this process is general in all provinces such as MBBS admission criteria in Sindh 2026.

Step 1: Universities open registration for MBBS. You need to do online registration by making accounts on the respective websites.

Step 2: You must provide all of the required information to the online admission portal of selected college or university before the last date of registration.

Step 3: Pay registration fee online or through affiliated bank. The registration fee is usually from Rs.500 to Rs.1000.

Step 4: Wait for the merit list and interview call. In some colleges/universities, there is an aptitude test along with MDCAT test.

MBBS Admissions Documents Required

The admission of MBBS will commence in October. Before that student should complete there mandatory documents which should be submit with online application. Without these document the admission form shall not be accepted.

Domicile Certificate

  • The Punjab domicile is mandatory for all students. Any other document will not be acceptable
  • The students with Islamabad domicile can apply for Open merits seats in Punjab.
  • Overseas students with dual nationality does not require domicile to apply for quota seats.
  • Students of Under-develop district should have their area domicile to apply for the reserved seats.

Educational Documents and Their Attestation

  • As per the HEC all Students are required to get their Matric and FSC (Pre medical) certificates to be attested by the IBCC
  • Foreign students should submit their an Equivalence Certificate or Provisional Equivalence Letter for the Equivalent Educational qualification of their 10th and 12th grade examinations,issued and duly attested by IBCC.

Identity Documents

  • Students should submit any one of the Identity Documents with the application form: CNIC, NICOP, POC, B-Form, CRC and passport
  • Students with application form should submit one copy of their parents Identity Document.
  • Pakistani student residing aboard should submit one copy of these documents

Iqama or Residence Permit or Green Card or Foreign Passport

Note: For candidates residing in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), it is mandatory to submit a digital copy of their Iqama downloaded from the Absher or Ministry of Interior, KSA, official website, displaying the expiry date of the permit, along with the printed copy of their Iqama.

  • The Identity Documents with expiry date should note acceptable

Special Documents

These documents is not required to the open merit seats candidates. These are for the quota seats Students of Under-developed areas

  • The student of under- develop area should submit their FSC and Matric certificate attested respective Chief Executive Officer (District Education Authority) and Director of Education (Colleges).Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner of the relevant district shall also attest this certificate.
  • The students should also upload their school leaving Certificates/ Character Certificates/Provisional Certificates from their respective educational institution
  • The students from Cholistan should submit the proof that he/she is birth of cholistan and now leaving in cholistan
  • The students with disability should submit their disability certificate. Based on this certificate, they shall be presented before a Medical Board, which will assess their eligibility for admission to medical/dental colleges.

Photograph, Thumbprint, and Signature

  • The students should submit the recent photo not older than one month. Photo should be in color with white background and the face of candidate should be clear. No caps hats and sunglasses. No edit and touchup their photo.
  • The candidate has to sign on white paper with blue ink in running hand and also provide their left thumbprint. The photograph of this document should also be uploaded with the admission form.

Important Instructions for Digitizing Documents for Upload

  • It should be noted that the candidate will fill out the admission application online through the portal. Therefore, they should have soft copies of all the documents mentioned above saved on their computer or mobile device.
  • The candidate should prepare soft copies of all documents only in JPG/JPEG format. For this purpose, they can use apps like Cam Scanner.
  • The file size should not exceed 2 MB per document.
  • Upload the images of all original documents only. Photocopies of documents shall not be accepted.
  • Every document's image should be clear and readable. Blurred or illegible documents shall be rejected.
  • Documents that have printing on both sides, such as identity cards, passports, should be prepared as separate files for both front and back sides.
  • Save each document file with a unique name, and before uploading, ensure that you are uploading the correct document.
  • Verification of educational documents is usually done on the backside of the documents.In such cases, the candidate must upload images of both the front and back sides.
  • For documents in languages other than English or Urdu (e.g., Arabic, Persian, Chinese,Spanish, Italian, etc.), candidates must also upload their official notarized/certified English translations.
