Generous financial aid is also given out to deserving candidates of high caliber to make sure the environment at AKU is diverse.
Admission opportunities in courses, degrees and programs offered by the AKU can be availed by:
- Students from all over Pakistan,
- International students from USA, UK, Canada and Middle East.
There are is no concept of reserved seats, quota-system or admission against donation. Hence students may freely apply from all over the world. The medium of instruction is English to cater maximum number of students.
Both national and international students are required: to do the following as part of the admission process
- Sit for a competitive entrance test
- Appear for an interview with the admission board of the university.
Although a selective number of students are given the admission but no discrimination in performed on basis of gender, religion or nationality.
Each Academic program has a different selection process and eligibility criteria however the general criteria includes:
- Fluent English
- Previous academic performance
- Leadership skills
- Critical and analytical reasoning power
For different programs and degrees the admission dates and deadlines are different. Mostly the admissions are open by May, June.
