Frankfurt - Prague

Prague - Bratislava

Begin your Prague adventure with a spectacular walk along the Royal Route, tracing the traditional coronation path of Bohemia's kings and queens of old. Starting from the summit of Castle Hill in the Hradcany district, renowned for its stunning vistas of the red-roofed old city, embark on a tour of Prague Castle. This iconic castle has served as the historic seat of Bohemian royalty since the 9th century and is also the current residence of the nation's presidents.

Explore the imposing gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and the ancient Golden Lane, lined with traditional buildings. Later, take a leisurely stroll across the iconic Charles Bridge, with its graceful arches over the Vltava River, and meander through winding alleys to reach the Old Town Square. Here, you'll witness the City Hall and Prague's most renowned sight, the Astronomical Clock. After lunch in the square, enjoy a scenic transfer from Prague to your hotel located in or near the charming Slovakian capital, Bratislava.

Bratislava - Budapest

Arriving in Hungary on Wednesday morning, the fourth country on your tour, you'll discover Budapest, known as the Pearl of the Danube. This capital city is essentially two separate cities linked together: Buda on the west bank of the river, and Pest on the east, each with its own unique characteristics. To experience this location's unparalleled beauty, many people opt for a river cruise.

After a morning of activity, enjoy a leisurely lunch at Buda Palace. Then, visit the Budapest History Museum and Hungarian National Gallery to explore their exhibitions, or indulge in a bit of souvenir shopping. The cultural and historic tour of both sides of the city comes next. On the Buda side of the Danube, enjoy the towered terrace of Fisherman's Bastion, the medieval Matthias Church, and a walk up Gellért Hill to savor the panoramic views. While over on Pest, explore the expansive Heroes' Square and Hungary's striking riverside Parliament Building.

In the evening, opt for an optional dinner in the heart of Budapest, where you can relish traditional dishes like goose liver, goulash, duck leg, and local wine. Hungarian folk dance and music will accompany your meal, rounding off an eventful day.

Budapest - Vienna

Your day begins with a short journey to another of Europe's grand capitals, Vienna. Here, you'll explore the city's stunning palaces, striking churches, and prestigious art museums. Your Vienna adventure begins at Schönbrunn Palace, the Rococo-style summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty, rulers of Europe, and the Church for many decades. This palace is one of the city's most popular attractions. After lunch in this refined setting, take a driving tour past many grand, famous buildings such as the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, Hofburg Palace, and Heroes' Square.

In the afternoon, you'll have time to indulge in some shopping before visiting the Wiener Staatsoper (opera house), adding it to your list of key Vienna buildings. Later, opt for dinner in the heart of the city or visit St. Stephen's Cathedral. Take a stroll in Stadtpark, known for its range of sculptures, including the famous gilded bronze statue of Johann Strauss II.

Vienna - Munnich
After departing from Vienna, the tour proceeds to the picturesque town of Mondsee, situated on the shores of Lake Mondsee. Here, you'll have the opportunity to visit the historic Mondsee Abbey, a medieval monastery that served as the filming location for the wedding scene in The Sound of Music. Following lunch, the journey continues across the German border to Munich. Upon arrival in Munich, you'll have the chance to visit Marienplatz, a central square in the heart of the city that dates back to 1158, as well as the New Town Hall, which has housed the city government and administration since 1874. Alternatively, you can opt to unwind with a traditional German beer at one of the local beer gardens before retiring to your hotel.
Munich - Zurich

Today’s itinerary takes you away from the bustling metropolises to explore the pristine Swiss Alps, but not before making a photo stop in one of Europe’s smallest countries, Liechtenstein. Vaduz, the capital city of Liechtenstein, boasts charming boutique shops and the famous Huber shop for fine jewelry and watches. The next stop is Engelberg, a picturesque Swiss resort, where you can choose to ride a cable car to the summit of the magnificent Mount Titlis. This adventure involves taking three different gondolas, with the last stage ascended by the world’s first revolving gondola, the Titlis Rotair, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers, valleys, lakes, and forests. The sun terrace at the summit offers a perfect place to admire the awe-inspiring panoramas, and for an extra thrill, you can walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge.

Afterward, you will visit the idyllic city of Lucerne, with its beautiful bridges and towers set against a backdrop of stunning Alpine vistas. Here you can wander through the charming streets, see the famous Lion Monument, described by Mark Twain as “the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world,” and shop for souvenirs such as Swiss watches and fine chocolates. Finally, you will travel to the overnight stop in Zurich.

Zurich - Frankfurt
The last day of your tour commences in Zurich, a prominent financial hub. You'll have a chance to take a photo break at the impressive Lake Zurich, and then continue to Europe's largest waterfall, Rhine Falls. Afterwards, you'll cross the border back to Germany and enter the Black Forest, a forested mountain range renowned for its eerie folklore and mythical tales. You'll see the picturesque Lake Titisee and have the option to stop at one of the many lakeside cafes to indulge in some of the region's finest Black Forest cherry gateaux. Titisee is also known for its production of cuckoo clocks, and you'll witness a demonstration of these enchanting timepieces. Finally, the tour concludes in Frankfurt, where some members of the group may say their farewells, while others choose to spend an additional night in this notable German city before embarking on the Red Line tour the next day.
