How to Apply for South Korea

Letter of Acceptance:
First of all you have to search for the South Korean university you want to enroll in, read their scholarship and student visa policy that suits your requirement. Fill the form provided by the university’s or college’s website (Form No 34 i-e student visa form). After submitting the form in your chosen university, an acceptance letter of your admission will be issued to you by the president of college or university officially. You have to apply immediately for the student visa after the acceptance of letter from university.
Passport
The first step of visa requirement process starts with your passport (must be valid for at least 6 months after your anticipated departure date for South Korea).A copy of passport along with your colored picture( must be taken within the last 6 month)
A Copy of Business Registration Certificate of Korean University
A Business Registration Certificate of Korean university or an alien card is issued to all those who will stay in South Korea for more than 90 days, without its registration the visitor or student will be considered as illegal. This card will be issued to you by the university and it is one of the most important documents in the process of visa.
Proof of Finances
A Bank statement showing that it will cover all your expenses or at least your university fee during your stay in South Korea.
A Recommendation Certificate from Your Home University
Its main purpose is to add emphasis to your application by your home university in validation of your visa application by providing your positive work and all other achievements.
Transcript of Records
All the documents as a proof of your previous academic certificates including character certificates and participation certificates,.
Language Proficiency
Students applying to study in Korea must prove their proficiency in language they want to study their course in whether it is English or Korean language, if the language is not their native tongue. It is important to check the language requirement for the university you are applying.
