Who Can Apply?
- Students of any nationality are eligible for this grant.
- Non-Chinese citizens holding a valid passport.
- A positive attitude towards China and a clean criminal record.
- Applicants for bachelor's degrees should have an HSK level of 5 or higher.
- Master's and PhD applicants (for Chinese-taught programs) must have HSK Level 5 and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- For master's and PhD programs taught in English, applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or above.
- Must not be getting any other scholarships.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship includes the following expenses:
- Full tuition fee waiver
- Complimentary accommodation (Standard double room in international student dormitories is RMB 750 per month).
- Living allowance:
- RMB 1,500 per month (Type B Scholarship).
- RMB 2,500 per month (Type A, offered to existing students based on academic performance)
- Comprehensive medical insurance costs RMB 800 each year.
