To be eligible for the University of Johannesburg Margaret McNamara Education Grants, applicants must meet certain criteria:
Gender: The grants are exclusively available to women scholars, as the program aims to empower and promote gender equality.
Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of a country within the South African Development Community (SADC) region.
Admission: Candidates must have been accepted into a full-time master’s or doctoral program at the University of Johannesburg for the upcoming academic year.
Academic Merit: Applicants should demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and a strong commitment to their chosen field of study.
Financial Need: Candidates must exhibit financial need and demonstrate that the grant will significantly contribute to their ability to pursue higher education.
The University of Pretoria will provide up to $10,000 per year for at most two years. There are approximately 12 students selected annually.

This will be the first ever Summer School in South Africa in July 2023, and the Season: Winter in South Africa.

Eligibility and funding
The ACU Summer School is aimed at students studying a subject that explores themes related to truth and reconciliation and/or with a personal interest in truth and reconciliation.
We encourage students who have not travelled outside their home region to apply. This does not apply to students studying in their host country of South Africa or ACU scholars.

Eligibility Criteria of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2023-24:
International students can apply for scholarships in Brunei.
For undergraduate and diploma programmers, students’ age must be between 18 to 25.
For post-graduate master’s degree programs, you must not exceed 35 years of age
You must not be a permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) is offering full scholarships to South African students to undertake full-time taught Master’s studies at a UK university or higher education institution with which the CSC has a part funding agreement for a specific programme of study to undertake full-time taught Master’s study.
Scholarship Benefits
No tuition fees are charged in Germany for PhD studies in Germany. The scholarship covers living costs, travel and health insurance for the scholarship holder.
