Poland NAWA Ulam Program 2025 (Fully Funded)

It is a Fully Funded Program Funded by the Polish Government through the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). This Program aims to invite foreign applicants from all around the world to work on Research Projects and engage in Scientific Activities,  Teaching Activities at Polish scientific institutions. 

Call for applications for Ulam NAWA 2025 programme opens

We are announcing a new call for applications for the Ulam NAWA programme, which gives foreign scientists the opportunity to carry out research in Poland. This is the seventh edition of one of our flagship programmes supporting the internationalisation of Polish universities and scientific institutions.

If you have been awarded a Seal of Excellence certificate through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships programme, you can also apply - we recognise this certificate as confirmation of the quality of your application. 

Eligibility Criteria

Open to researchers worldwide (except Russia): Applications are welcome from international researchers globally, except those from Russia.

All disciplines eligible: Researchers from all academic fields are encouraged to apply.

Doctoral degree required: Applicants must hold a doctoral degree.

Research plan required: A research plan aligned with the program’s goals is a mandatory part of the application.

No age restrictions: There are no age limits for applicants.

Employment at a foreign institution (with exception): Candidates must be employed at a foreign university or research center. However, this requirement is waived for those who obtained their doctorate after August 31, 2024.
