NCKU is generally considered to be a top-tier university in Taiwan. It is best known for its educational degree and courses in engineering, computer science, medicine, and planning and design.

 Criteria: 

Applicants are required to choose the Full English Taught Programs.

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for master’s programs; applicants with a master’s degree are eligible to apply for doctoral programs.

Academic credentials from Mainland China: The Regulations Governing the Accreditation of Schools in Mainland China shall apply.

National Cheng Kung University and MOE

The MOE/NCKU Elite Scholarship program is open to international students who are degree-seeking applicants applying for Doctoral/Masters at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.

Scholarship for International Students (Degree programs)

Those who receive scholarships or grants for international students offered by Taiwanese governmental agencies are not eligible to receive this scholarship. Any recipients of this scholarship found to be acting in violation of this rule will be disqualified from receiving this scholarship, and must return the funds they have already received.

Nationality: Citizens of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Poland

Fields: applicants to study at NCKU must be semiconductiors related, including:

AISSM: Integrated Circuit Design, Semiconductor Process Technology, Semiconductor Packaging and Testing, Key Materials, Smart and Sustainable Manufacturing

EECS: Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Manufacturing Information and Systems
