Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship 2025/26 (Fully Funded)

Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship:

The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country. 

ELIGIBILITY

International students from the MTCP recipient countries.

Not more than 45 years old on the date of application.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) / CGPA 3.00 at undergraduate level.

English language requirements:

IELTS overall score of 6.0 and above; or

TOEFL iBT total score of 60 and above; or

Obtained a previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instruction.

 Criteria:

The scholarship is open to Citizens of the MTCP recipient countries.

An applicant must be a citizen of a developing country.

The applicant’s age should not exceed 45 years at the time of application.

An applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of 3.50

Applicants need a university admission before applying for the scholarship.

The MTCP Scholarship is funded by the Malaysian Government and is dedicated to International students to undertake a Master’s Degree Program from Malaysian Universities. This scholarship is only for the September/October intake for the academic year of 2025/2026.
